On April 6 and 7, 2016, the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) hosted its annual global summit in Dallas, and Brand USA, together with U.S. Travel, was proud to be a platinum sponsor of this high profile event. Brand USA President & CEO Chris Thompson joined travel and tourism leaders to showcase the public-private partnership success in the travel and tourism industry.
As part of our joint sponsorship of the event, Chris Thompson, Brand USA President & CEO joined U.S. Travel Association President & CEO Roger Dow in the opening panel showcasing the effectiveness of public-private partnerships.
The opening panel began with two keynotes: Penny Pritzker, Secretary of Commerce, United States Government of America and Arne Sorenson, President & CEO, Marriott International Inc. The panel included:
